Some of my clients do a lot of Direct Mailing. Often called eshots, these are the things that usually clog up your inbox or just get spammed. To get a more positive response from Mail software and the people who receive them, you need to choose your words very carefully indeed. You have to be a bit obsessed with open rates and be prepared to try, try and try again until you have a subject line that’s genuinely stand-out intriguing so your open rate is outstanding.
